The sole November post...

After destroying my bank account on the trips to Oktoberfest and UK, I had to hold back on the excessive travelling I have grown accustomed and addicted to. That and summer ended, which means most places aren't quite as nice as they are in August. That being said, I feel like I've burnt a month accomplishing nothing in my adventures. Along with this, the party lifestyle has "evolved" into something that no longer interferes with the standard 8 hour working day and the level of consciousness required to make it through one without a spontaneous 3 second nap at least once. I think the fact that it is as dark when I leave work as it is in the dead of night is highly demotivating to do things.

In summary, life got boring. Hence the lack of posts in almost a month.

Don't get me wrong, there are still things going down and they are great fun. It's just not at the same level as travelling the world. I'm probably to blame more than anyone, but whatever. Paragliding was planned but the weather was no good, and a visit with Ksenija in Slovenia was planned but schedules didn't work out. It'll have to wait until Spring. Maybe some crazy sledding next weekend will bring me to my joy of snow.

All this being said, it has been brought to my attention that boiled potato water and boiled carrot water both taste awesome. I am also capable of making damn good carrot muffins and banana bread (even if I do say so myself).

I watched the Flames crush the Kings last night online. I've also been keeping up with some primetime television and teaching myself how to play guitar. I need a soundproofed room so I'm not embarrassed with anyone hearing how bad I am...

One very big thing to look forward to is the upcoming snowboarding season. I found bindings to go with the snowboard I found in the attic, so now all I need are boots that fit me. And a helmet. Anyone who has gone down a mountain with me knows how I gravitate toward trees...

Otherwise, I booked a flight to Egypt for March and am going to Oslo from the 26th to 30th of December.
